Seed Funding Grants

The NCI-SW is pleased to announce a new program supporting external users of the NanoFab and Eyring Materials Center. If you are a potential new user from a university or small business you may be eligible for a Seed Funding grant.

External University Applicants
Faculty, graduate students, and post-doctoral scholars working on a nano-related project at a university other than ASU can apply for up to $5,000 in laboratory use fees. The seed grant can be used to off-set the costs of working in the ASU NanoFab and/or Eyring Materials Center.

Small Business Applicants
If you are part of a small business ‘start up’ with a nanotechnology focus, and need assistance with commercializing your technology, apply for up to $10,000 in travel and accommodation costs to attend the ASU I-Corps training program. The program consists of a two-week boot camp with continuing face-to-face and online coaching that focuses on customer discovery and developing sustainable revenue streams.
